OyVeyAI ("the app", "the site") is a novelty chatbot. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your information when you use it — on the web at oyveyai.com or through the iOS app, which simply displays that same website.
Your messages, sent to generate a response. When you send a message, it's forwarded to a language model to generate a reply. This happens in real time and isn't logged or stored afterward by the app.
Your IP address, briefly, to prevent abuse. The server keeps an in-memory count of requests per IP address for a five-minute rolling window, purely to rate-limit excessive use. This isn't written to disk, isn't linked to any identity, and is cleared automatically as the window rolls forward (and entirely on server restart).
OyVeyAI is powered by an AI language model. Like any AI, it can produce inaccurate, nonsensical, or fabricated responses while sounding confident about them. Don't rely on it for factual, medical, legal, or financial advice, and don't share sensitive personal information in your messages.
OyVeyAI isn't directed at children and isn't knowingly used to collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
